Основные научные темы: изучение морфотектонической эволюции мелко- и крупномасштабных структур Южных Апеннин с применением детального морфометрического анализа (Dtm, программное обеспечение ГИС); геоморфологический анализ; четвертичная геология; картографирование и создание базы данных ГИС; геоархеологический анализ внутриматериковых и прибрежных районов; оценка геологического наследия ряда изучаемых районов.
