Scientific interests: geomechanics, geophysics, mechanical and seismic effects of explosion. More than 80 publications on the influence of geodynamic factors on mechanical stability in engineering; deformation characteristics of intervals between the blocks, dynamic deformation of block rock massifs, initiation of deformation processes in the Earth’s crust by small perturbations. A leader and a participant of federal and international projects. A member of the International Society for Rock Mechanics (ISRM), a member of Scientific and Dissertational councils of IDG RAS.
