Geophysicist, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor Mikhail Ivanovich Epov - Deputy Chairman of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Deputy Academician-Secretary of the Department of Earth Sciences, Director of the Federal State Budgetary Institution of Science of the Institute of Petroleum Geology and Geophysics. A.A. Trofimuk of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Head of the Department of Geophysics of the Novosibirsk State University - he is one of the world-famous specialists in the field of geophysics and geophysical methods of exploration. He is the author of more than 450 scientific publications, including 7 monographs, 12 patents, the leader of a leading scientific school, his works are widely known and deservedly recognized both in Russia and abroad.
